Our Environmental Management Plan (EMP) provides specific environmental management requirements to ensure that works undertaken have minimal adverse effects on the environment throughout the life of the project. It has been prepared to address the environmental strategies including performance criteria, management actions, and monitoring, auditing and reporting requirements and to specify areas of responsibility related to the project. Our plan shows the ways in which we sustain the project and minimise potential environmental impacts through carrying out environmental protection measures and monitoring works which provides a structured framework that is associated with our operations and activities.
The key points of our strategy are:
- To continually improve and prevent pollution
- Minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.
- Minimise toxic emissions through the selection and use of plant and equipment.
- Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst our customers and suppliers
- Source and promote a product range that minimises the environmental impact in both production and distribution.
- Comply with environmental legislation and other requirements that relate to environmental aspects.
- Establish and reviewing measurable environmental goals and objectives
